GRIT

Grit is a collection of photos inspired by the rugged truth of life. After doing product photography daily I began to take interest in what wasn’t supposed to be perfect and pristine. I sought to photograph the gritty aspects of life: things that are neglected but beautiful in a solemn and sad way. I find they are a reminder of our own mortality and the frailty of things that we take for granted.
